The T4 × 0.5 thread-milling end mill is a specialist tool for producing fine trapezoidal threads with a 0.5 mm pitch at T4 diameter. It is used where low-tolerance threads are required for precise linear-motion transmission, including medical instruments, precision optics, and miniature mechanisms.

Its geometry is designed for fine chips to help prevent blockage in very small flutes.
