Product Overview

Achteck (German for “octagon”) turning inserts feature an eight-sided geometry delivering up to 8 usable cutting edges per insert. This design significantly reduces tooling cost per part compared to conventional 2- or 4-edge inserts. Ideal for general-purpose CNC turning on Swiss-type machines, multi-spindle automatics, and conventional CNC lathes in medium to high production volumes.
