Swiss-Type Spindle Seat (Guide Bushing)
Swiss-type spindle seat (guide bushing) for precise bar support near the cutting point and better surface finish.
Description
Product Overview
The spindle seat, or guide bushing, is a key part of Swiss-type sliding-headstock lathes. It supports and guides raw bar stock directly near the cutting point. This support reduces bar vibration and allows long, slender parts to be machined with close accuracy.
In Swiss-type machines, the guide bushing is one of the main factors affecting dimensional accuracy, surface finish and workpiece length. The right spindle seat must be selected for each bar diameter and material.
